We LOVED hearing “Too Many” by Elliott Park Saturday night! Which made me think of a theme (or three) for an upcoming Appetizer…but…I’m way too lazy to go through years of _The Appetizer_ playlists so you may have already done these, but here are a few program ideas, anyway:

–“One-Dish Wonders” (a tasty Appetizer take on one-hit wonders)

    –“Listen Local” (Texas singer/songwriters/songs/bands)

–a “Farmer’s Market” episode where you recognize artists who come from rural backgrounds and/or sing about the joys of living in the country

–“Pièce de Résistance” (the best track of an album, like “Eminence Front” on The Who’s _It’s Hard_ album)

–“Signature Dishes” (the most famous/beloved songs of particular artists)

–“Spice of Life” (songs with some bite and feistiness, as opposed to Saturday night’s “Sweet Blend”)

–“Six Course Meal” (songs that tell a story–think Decemberists)

We will SQUEAL if we hear any of these on any upcoming shows. You’ll be able to hear us all the way from the farm…

    We love The Appetizer,
    The Farmer and His Wife
