Annual Special: Pop Rock Scissors Covers Playlist

Pop-Rocks-Scissors-Covers This is the 8th year (or is it more????) of our annual cover song special series. Kinda hard to believe we’ve been doing this cover stuff once a year for that long……
The challenge each year is not picking the music. It’s figuring out what to name the special. I was organizing the tracks and realized that there were a lot of pop covers, and a lot of classic rock covers. There was also a good bit of alt-rock covers. Pop and Rock. Cut up in a new way. Paper Rock Scissors was a fun game to play as kids, and the music here would fit nicely with a new game, or something to that extent.
Hour 1 features some excellent covers of Sprinsteen, Hendrix, Zeppelin and your favorite 90s rock songs. Hour 2 dives straight into the Pop realm, where I honestly have very little experience. So much indie, no interest in pop. But this is a nice introduction to whatever the kids are listening to these days. Enjoy!
