After last week’s diving into flavors of music that go beyond the standard songwriting fair (ie love songs, heart-break songs, etc), it turns out that when I took more time and consideration to take in the plethora of subject matter, a lot of artists dive into deeper waters. There are exceptions (Aerosmith for one), but a lot of music that makes you think is out there in abundance.
