Appetizer Artist Videos

While I don’t have the rights to post videos from artists featured regularly on the show, I can point you in the direction of where to check out some very well made and engaging videos from some of my favorite emerging artists.

If you haven’t seen Bess Rogers‘ videos, you’re in for a treat. You can see all of them here. Make sure you see “Favorite Day.” It’s one of my faves.

William Fitzsimmons
It’s been cool watching the career of William Fitzsimmons take off. I’ve known him for about 4 years now and his style is very intriguing and engaging. His story is very unique and you can hear more of his story my visiting our podcast page. His videos are unique as well. One of his older songs is called “It’s Not True.” The video for it is here. William will be performing in Texas in March. He’ll be in Abilene at the Historic Paramount Theater on March 5th. Tickets available at 325-676-9620.

While Tx-based The Rocketboys have been playing and performing for a while, even taking the Austin City Limits stage a few years ago, they only have videos of their concerts. We recorded an exclusive set with them at Flyboy Studios. You can watch that video here.

Another artist who was nominated for a Golden Fork award and who I was privileged to get to speak with last year is Citizen Cope. He had an LP released in 2010 called The Rainwater EP. My favorite song on the album is “I Couldn’t Explain Why.” Check out the official video here.

I just read this quote, what do you think” Without passion, you do not have energy; without energy, you haven’t anything. Nothing great on earth has been accomplished without passion. Ps your RSS feed isnt working right at this moment?

Thanks for the note on the RSS feed. I’m looking into it. If you know your way around WordPress and would care to share how a fix to that might be, please let me know.
