The past few weeks The Appetizer has featured some great new artists. This week is no exception. Here is a little sneak peek of the new artist we will be introducing this week.
21 year old, Brianna Gaither, grew up in Oklahoma. She was attracted to music from a young age, although she says that people remarked that she was slightly tone deaf. “I’m glad to be growing out of that,” she jokes on her Facebook page. Her music resembles Ingrid Michaelson and Regina Spektor, although she makes it all her own with an message of hope. Her first EP, “New Thoughts”, brought her talent to the forefront and caught the attention of many fans.
Her new album, “Love is Patient”, became the third-most downloaded album on noisetrade.com.
D Grant Smith will feature a great track off of her new album, “Love is Patient”.
More information about Brianna can be found on her website.
Aryn is Dallas singer/songwriter. She didn’t wait for her big break, she went out and got it. As a teenager she taught herself how to play the piano and guitar, and began writing music. Her album, “The Last One Standing” is set to release in October of 2011. It is interesting how this album was funded. She raised $50,000 through the crowd-funding website, SellaBand.com. Her music showcases well-written lyrics and mastered melodies. One fan said it best:
“Aryn Michelle has that extra something that separates her from the crowd. Her lyrics are smart and thought provoking and she wraps them around beautiful melodies. Her gorgeous voice and music will resonate in your mind and heart for a long time. I can’t wait to see what she does next.”

SPELLS is a one-man-band project from Trevor Tillery. This project is different from any other project he has worked on. This is proven by a quick listen to one of the tracks from his album, “Escapist”. So here, take one. 🙂
