Good afternoon everyone!
Did you catch Saturday’s episode of The Appetizer?
For those unlucky souls, let me do a little recap for you.
The theme was songs that never “get old.” You know, just like your favorite foods. You could eat them almost everyday, and you just can’t get enough. You never grow sick of it. It’s the same way with music. D Grant served up some great “evergreen” tracks tomorrow.
One artist featured was Trevor Hall.
Others were Joe Pug, Abigail Washburn, Bon Iver, Muse, Matt Kearney, and many many others.
and Matt Morris….
This is where I must stop…
Matt Morris is one of my personal favorite artists. I could listen to him all day long and never get tired of it. I listened to his album over and over again. My poor friends have contemplated on hiding the cd from me. Good thing they didn’t, I might have lashed out. I am even guilty of putting certain tracks on repeat. Like his one track, “The Un-American”. This track was actually one of the songs The Appetizer and Matt Morris discussed during The Appetizer’s exclusive interview and acoustic set. Here’s a video from that experience.
What is a song that never get old to you?
