Post Anniversary Celebration

Sharing the stage: Lindsay Katt, me, and Elliott Park
Sharing the stage: Lindsay Katt, me, and Elliott Park
Last night was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had in my 15+ years in the radio/entertainment industry.

It was also something unconventional and in many ways, unknown. But then again, I’m kind of known for doing stuff like that.

I was so blessed to get to share The Appetizer’s 10th birthday with my hometown community at The Historic Paramount Theater. I had this out-of-the-box concept on how I wanted to do the concert, which was a VH1-Storyteller style show and not a traditional presentation. If you came out to the show, you participated in a story-telling musical experience unlike anything that’s happened in Abilene before. It was awesome and I appreciate all of the folks to spent their Saturday night with me.

If you missed it, it’s ok. We taped it and will have the DVD soon. Get on the list to pick one up by emailing us at info@appetizerradio.com.

I appreciate our friends on Facebook and Twitter for sharing these pics. #TheAppetizerlive #tastethemusic #DGrantSmith
