Sound Bites: BBless

BBless It’s Hip-Hop Wednesday because we have another fresh sound today, this time from BBless. Representing the East coast NY sound, BBless has a storied past full of intrigue and eccentricities. His mother is American and his father is Ghanaian, creating a full range of cultural experiences to mesh with his songwriting. His album African King is a reflection of his heritage, the Queens rap sound, and his unique outlook on music.

Key tracks from his debut album release The Found King include Let It Go, bringing a sound reminiscent of P Diddy’s 90s work with fluid beats, sweet flows and sweet groove pad instruments. It’s a great introduction to his style and influence as well as the mark BBless is leaving on NY/East Coast hip-hop.

BBless’ recent song She’s Looking Good praises the beauty of his dream-girl. Check out the new video.
