Sound Bites: Born To Run

lastsecondsave At first glance, I thought this would be a cover (of the seminal Springsteen hit Born To Run) but it’s not. Nice fake out. Enter The Last Second Save.

What a great band name. Vocals are reminiscent of MxPx’s Mike Herrera and a subject matter of a love that either got away or left without closure. This song has a musical movement similar to Dashboard Confessional with a rap twist in the middle.

I like bands and artists who combine different styles and remind you of one band while sounding completely different. Synth melodies on steady drum beats with a tangy emotional zip of romantic breakup. Take a sound bite of Born To Run:
