Sound Bites: Bradford Loomis and Beth Whitney

The emergence of the singer-songwriter duo in all genres of indie music has led me to qualify what works and what doesn’t. A male/female counter-part in new music acts spring up daily. So which new bands should you take note of? Certainly don’t turn away the very sweet and beautiful sounds of Bradford Loomis and Beth Whitney in the song My Beloved.

Bradford also performs as a solo artist with music that recalls a historical era of the American past. Seeing him perform, his appearance is of a man of another time, which is a compliment to his ability to relate generations together. Their collective presentation of Americana Roots music draws us back to a style and story of our past generations. There is a semblance of other great folk artists in his writing including The Civil Wars and T-Bone Burnett. Sweet melodies are presented in a blend of lyrical beauty, with great voices to give us as listeners something to really celebrate and share.

Bradford and Beth’s album The Banner Days will be released August 23rd. Get it HERE.
And share this Sound Bite with those you know who love powerful music.
