Songbook Sampler Playlist & Player

About 2 years ago our show took a little turn. We stopped doing something that has become pervasive across the music and radio industry. The “Single” is branded for artists to push their music. Yet how often do you hear a single repeated so often that you wish the radio would try a new song from that same artist?

This constant stream (no pun intended) of singles led us to change course. There’s not a radio or media platform that showcases albums, and celebrates the songbooks of the artist behind it. We decided to become that missing piece.

Though this may be a few years in the making, consider this week’s episode the thesis of our program, the mission statement behind why we do what we do. You’re a discerning music fan. You deserve to not only hear 1 song from an artist, especially those touted with platinum records. The 2 cut rule has a purpose, and here’s what it is. Enjoy this taste and sampler of some great songbooks from artists covering folk, rock, alternative, and cross-over.
