From Coffee to Champagne, 24 Hours of Music!

Our emotions on New Year’s Eve vary as much as the moods of music itself. Maybe there’s regret for accomplishments not achieved, a sense of celebration eased out by champagne, or pensive reflection over the year’s last craft cup of coffee. 2016 was not the best year for some, and others have a lot to be thankful for. Even in the midst of unprecedented crises, the people in our world still find time to get married, go back to college for that degree, or even start a new music career. A year isn’t just one big high or low; rather, it’s an assortment, a compilation of moments that become memories.

Today, on behalf of the Appetizer, I want to introduce you to our first Spotify playlist, entitled “An Appetizing New Year’s Eve, From Coffee to Champagne.” It’s a first for us as we dive into the realm of music streaming & playlist creation on Spotify. Let us know what you think of this massive playlist (nearly 24 hours of music). Indie artists and albums featured on the radio show are a part of this playlist, as are several albums we didn’t include in our regular radio program.

You don’t need to pay to hear this music. It’s just for you to enjoy at your leisure, preferably from the beginning of the list. And there’s an entire 24 hours of music, so you can’t possibly run out today. Savor the end of the year with us, and we’ll see what the day has in store by the time midnight rolls around. However you enjoy this playlist, we want to hear from you. What tracks (and more importantly albums) stand out the most to you from our playlist here? Comment below and leave us a request. We’ll see how we can get that into a future playlist or even on the radio show. Thanks and happy new year!

Happy New Year’s Eve, Appetizer fans!
